I graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in History and religion was a constant theme in my work. I started studying Buddhism in 2014. In 2015 I started to study it formally in the Tendai Betsuin and it opened a new world of possibilities. The academic rigurosity appealed to my academic mind, while the ascetic training complemented my martial arts training.
I recently graduated from a Master’s Degree (MA) in Compared Literature and look forward to become a Soryo and to continue co-leading the Tendai Sangha in Puerto Rico.
