Upcoming Events Mahasangha Day was initiated in August, 2005. It is a monthly event to provide members of all the area sanghas, as well as other interested people, an opportunity to practice together at Jiunzan Tendai-ji. The talk begins at 10:00 am followed by meditation service and a potluck lunch.
Morning Service and Survey of Buddhism Classes Join sangha members for a morning service followed by a study class. Service begins at 8:30 a.m. at Jiunzan Tendai-ji. Class starts at 9:00 a.m. in the hondo mezzanine and ends at 10:30 a.m.
Shikan Meditation and Potluck Supper Join sangha members for Shikan meditation followed by a potluck supper every Wednesday. We will start with a short discussion at 6:30 p.m. with meditation beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Jiunzan Tendai-ji. NOTE - on Nov. 22nd, the night before Thanksgiving, there will not be a potluck.
